In your role as Senior Marketing Specialist, you will develop and execute core marketing programs in support of the company's overall vision and strategy. Working closely with the General Manager, Business Development Manager and Sales team, you will apply your knowledge of and experience with digital and traditional marketing channels to help achieve our immediate and long-term business objectives.

Practically speaking, here's what you'll do on a day-to-day basis…

  • Implement the strategic marketing plan, developed in collaboration with the General Manager and Business Development Manager

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy and multi-channel content calendar aimed at growing our digital presence, including:

    • Using project and product photography to create impactful social media content

    • Planning, recording, editing and sharing captivating video

    • Composing relevant and persuasive copy for diverse target audiences

    • Engaging with current and potential customers on all company social media platforms

    • Turning analytics into useful and actionable insights that inform future marketing efforts

  • Plan, execute and optimize digital ad campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) to achieve specific marketing and sales objectives

  • Maintain and enhance our company website, including:

    • Updating site content and photography via the CMS

    • Optimizing web copy for improved search engine results

    • Measuring analytics against KPIs and making improvements where necessary

  • Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to nurture leads, drive sales and engage a variety of audiences

  • Coordinate ongoing project and product photography to build our media library

  • Design and produce marketing collateral (e.g., product data sheets, brochures, flyers, promotional giveaways, etc.)

  • Coordinate all aspects of trade show and event participation, including administration, promotion, development of exhibit materials, lead generation and follow-up

  • Track performance of marketing campaigns and analyze key metrics to refine strategies, optimize ROI and achieve target KPIs

  • Responsibly manage the budget for marketing-related expenses throughout the fiscal year

  • Ensure all marketing communications uphold branding guidelines and are consistent with company image, culture & objectives

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, tools and best practices as well as an understanding of graphic design principles

  • A passion for creating engaging content and keeping up with changing social media trends

  • Skilled in all aspects of content marketing, including copywriting, visuals, video, SEO, paid and organic channels

  • Expert written and verbal communication skills with exceptional spelling and grammar

  • The ability to plan and manage projects within appropriate time and budget constraints

  • Proven ability to gain useful and actionable insights from analytics data (e.g., GA4)

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and connect with a diverse group of clients, contractors, suppliers and coworkers at all organizational levels

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or related program

  • 3-5 years of full-time, post-grad experience in a marketing role (preferably B2B)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office

  • Expertise in creating and optimizing content on a variety of paid and owned channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Ads, Mailchimp)

  • Prior experience in the landscaping, homebuilding, architectural or interior design industries is an asset

  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License as this position will include some local travel to trade shows, job sites, etc.
